As Octant Analytics continues to grow, please take a look at our Outside Sales Manager position: Title Outside Sales Manager (SM) Have a strong network within the nonprofit community and looking for an opportunity to make generous commissions on your own time? Our Outside Sales Manager is responsible for developing sales opportunities and acquiring new clients for our rapidly growing analytics firm. We are looking for an individual who knows the fundraising challenges nonprofit organizations face and understands the impact the firm’s support brings to them. Keep in mind that you dont need prior sales experience to be considered and this is not a position full of cold-calling. We are seeking experienced individuals who enjoy networking, are consultative sellers, and know how to close a deal. We believe that all non-profits should have the ability to maximize their impact in the world, made possible through efforts of volunteers, donors, and their community. Unfortunately, not all organizations have the staff time and resources needed for strategic fundraising analysis and implementation. We seek to close this gap by empowering these nonprofits with the support necessary to reach their fundraising and engagement potential, through making data-driven marketing and strategy decisions. With no additional work or hiring staff, these nonprofit organizations will acquire a best-in-class, outsourced analytics department to boost their fundraising efforts. Responsibilities The responsibilities of the SM focus around acquiring new clients. Work with Executive and Development Directors at nonprofit organizations to understand their fundraising challenges and how Octant Analytics’ solutions fit within their needs Complete sales cycle including prospecting, acquisition, deal submission, negotiation, and hand off for implementation Liaison between Octant Analytics and the client throughout the implementation process Transition new clients to the Relationship Manager for ongoing support Preferred Qualifications Strong nonprofit network in various sectors Exceptional communication, negotiation and time management skills Experience and knowledge of the fundraising role within a nonprofit organization and general industry information Entrepreneurial, self-starter who can prioritize and manage projects and deadlines Details & Benefits: Outside sales position means working on your schedule in any location Generous commissions with no limits Commission-only position, with bonus opportunities Company Location 180 Old Colony Avenue, Suite 300, Quincy, MA 02170 To Apply Please submit a resume and cover letter to recruiting@octantanalytics.
