The 34-year-old has enjoyed a remarkable career, notably with Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona and AC Milan, while he has won 99 caps and lifted the 2002 World Cup in Japan and South Korea with his national team. Since leaving San Siro in 2010, the Porto Alegre-born player has returned to Brazil, playing with Flamengo and latterly with Atletico - with whom he lifted the Copa Libertadores - and he believes his career still has one final chapter.
