Revealed By the Holy Spirit which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets: Ephesians 3:5 Notice, the church age is an age of salvation, for both the Jew and the Gentile. The mystery of the grace of God was not revealed in the Old Testament but was given in the New Testament, to the Apostles and prophets. God’s grace was made known to us, so we are able to get to know Jesus Christ. When we come to know Christ and we give our lives to Him, we are saved, all of our sins are forgiven and we are able to go to heaven. All of this is ours, because of Jesus Christ. The mystery was revealed by the Holy Spirit to the Apostles and prophets. This happened on the Day of Pentecost. After Jesus Christ died on the Cross, He was with His disciples for 40 days, the post-resurrection time, and then He ascended to heaven. Before He left, Jesus told the Apostles to wait for the promise of the Holy Spirit, and ten days later on Pentecost, the Holy Spirit came and baptized them. From that point on, the Holy Spirit has been baptizing and regenerating people around the world. The Holy Spirit is the only one who can convict and regenerate a person. We have never and will never regenerate any person. I have never converted any person. I cannot save you. I can introduce you to Christ, but you have to make the commitment. When we come to Jesus Christ, we come through faith believing in Christ. As all the Word of God is given by the Spirit of God, so each word must be interpreted by the same Spirit. -Andrew Murray-
