Revolt Against Obama Everywhere we turn, it seems as though people are turning against Obama: Democrats running in November, the American people, Obamas inner circle, the liberal media and even Piers Morgan! There was a time when Obama was sought out by every liberal politician and group because his charisma was infectious and people flocked to him. Oh how the times have changed. Democratic candidates, particularly in red states, are doing virtually everything they can to distance themselves from Obama and his policies. Can you blame them? Obamas poll numbers are plummeting. Voter opposition to the president is at a 16-year high! Its higher than it was during the Bush and Clinton years. Obama has become toxic to candidates and the Democratic party. His administration has been mired in scandal. Couple that with the incompetence weve witnessed – particularly lately on the rising threat of ISIS – and we have a once-beloved president who has turned into nothing more than a political albatross. You know its bad when you lose the liberal media like the New York Times, which declared just months ago that the Obama administration had lost all credibility. We have a New York Times reporter James Risen who is publicly claiming that Obama hates the press: “I think Obama hates the press. I think he doesn’t like the press and he hates leaks.” The liberal media still has a long way to go before they can be considered watchdogs of the Obama presidency, but the fawning over Obamas presidency sure has changed during this administration. Even Piers Morgan on Hannity last night expressed his disappointment with the president. He was especially disturbed by Obama throwing his intelligence community under the bus when it came to the threat of ISIS. Its as if the liberal media is finally catching up to what Ive been saying about Barack Obama for many years. They are finally seeing the radical ideologue for what he really is and that hasnt translated into bold American leadership. That leads to the revelations weve learned from Obamas former administration officials. Both Hillary Clinton and Robert Gates have written books with their own critiques of Obama and his decisions. Now the latest comes from former Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta. Panetta asserts that Obamas decisions have essentially led us to this point with ISIS and that we are in for what he calls a “30-year war” with radical Islam. In Panettas opinion, “those on our side viewed the White House as so eager to rid itself of Iraq that it was willing to withdraw rather than lock in arrangements that would preserve our influence and interests.” Thank you for voting! Retired Army General Bob Scales told Fox News, If you dont give it a name, that means that, in the eyes of the administration, it doesnt deserve even enough credit to have a title. Thats, to me, astounding.” Hes absolutely right. We cant give it a name. We also cant call it a war, much less a war against radical Islam. How are we expected to win something we cant even identify? Anyway, here is some of the latest news regarding ISIS. The top story is that ISIS is on the verge of gaining more territory. They are about to capture Kobani, which is a Syrian town on the Turkish border. The Kurdish forces, with limited aid from our airstrikes, are unable to repel ISIS fighters. The AP reports, “Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said the coalition air campaign launched last month would not be enough to halt the Islamic State groups advance …” Erdogan says, Kobani is about to fall. We asked for three things: one, for a no-fly zone to be created; two, for a secure zone parallel to the region to be declared; and for the moderate opposition in Syria and Iraq to be trained and equipped. NATO says that it is prepared to defend Turkey if attacked along its border. There is also a report that ISIS is within shelling distance of the airport in Baghdad. The Washington Free Beacon reports, “McClatchy reported on Friday that ISIL had established an operational presence in Abu Ghraib, a town within miles of the capital Baghdad that could enable the militants to shell the Baghdad International Airport with artillery. The airport serves as a key transit point for Western embassies and houses a joint operations center with U.S. military advisers.” We also have an American who was arrested by the FBI in Chicago trying to leave to join the Islamic State. Mohammed Hamzah Khan, 19 years old, was intercepted at Chicagos OHare airport. He left a letter in his apartment explaining his decision to leave. According to the Wall Street Journal, “The letter said he was traveling to Syria because there was an obligation to migrate to Islamic State and he was upset that his tax money was being used to kill fellow Muslims. Mr. Khan allegedly invited his family to join and urged them not to tell authorities.” FBI Director James Comey said over the weekend that at least a dozen Americans are currently fighting along with hannity/articles/news-476261/revolt-against-obama-12838150
