Please post anonymously Am I selfish ? My Birthday Valentines day Xmas New Years. I tell my partner its just a day not important. Well xmas is for the kids only. I just mean myself Im not important. So I dont celebrate it for my self. I didnt do anything for my birthday nothing special. My partner was at work for the day. We did normal things watch telly have dinner bed. Xmas my partner didnt buy me anything. Nye tonight my partner going out asked me but said no coz I cant we got a little boy who 3. Valentines never had card or anything in past 4 years (been together 5 years) But I just feel bitter. I dont feel Im deserving special to be spoilt but I feel such a boring person as I dont go out or do anything but be a mum and my priorities is being a mum, but I do feel frustrated and bitter because Ive lost myself Im just mummy if that makes sense. I feel annoyed towards my partner as he going out which I shouldnt just because Ive gotta stay in for our son doesnt mean he has to stay in and be bored
