Besides the fan service (the reason why I watch the show), this harem has guns and many pop culture references. Whats interesting is that while Okinawa (the setting) belongs to Japan, its technically not part of Japan proper, geographically speaking (similar to how Hawaii is belongs to the USA, its technically not part of the USA proper).
