Rhonda has moved to the Illini Restorative Care, room #5 & it has been a bumpy ride so far. Upon arrival here, I asked Rhonda how was the trip from Peoria to Silvis... she said she knows why Illinois roads have such a bad reputation. She arrived & they didnt have her meds, so she is behind the power curve when it comes to pain. The nurses didnt seem to get her needs. And she missed the dinner meal. This is just to name a few items... I really think all of this is because she arrived after 6PM. I am a firm believer in the Scarlett OHara Principle... TOMORROW is another DAY! I am going to pray that tomorrow will bring new clarity to Rhondas nurses & doctors here at IRC in Silvis. They will understand how to care for her in a better way. They will know that she doesnt need a waffle air mattress on top of her hospital bed. They will also know what a strong fighter she is! Please pray that tomorrow will be the best day Rhonda has had in 3 weeks. Pray for patience, perseverance, pain management & power in recovery! BELIEVE!!!
