Rice Krispie Date Balls 1/2 cup butter 1 1/2 cups chopped dates 3/4 cup of sugar 3 cups rice krispies 1/2 cup chopped walnut (optional) 1 cup shredded coconut ( to roll balls in ) Cook butter, dates, sugar in saucepan and cook on medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture becomes a paste. Add rice krispies. Mix together and cool. Take tablespoon and form into small balls. Roll in shredded coconut or chopped nuts
