Rich is being admitted. They are giving him zosyn (antibiotic) and thorazine (hopefully anti-hiccup). The GI doc is looking at his X-rays and scans to determine if hes just very constipated or if he has a bowel obstruction. If constipation, theyll do a bowel prep routine to clear him out. And well hang here in the hospital for a day or two to monitor everything. Worst case they will medical transport him to Wake Forest Baptist versus my driving him.
