Richard Sherman Rips Roger Goodell, Patriots Owner Robert Kraft over Deflategate: Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman has always been one to say what he thinks. Shortly after the Seahawks landed in Arizona on Sunday for Super Bowl XLIX, Sherman held his first media session of the week. Of course, Sherman was asked about the New England Patriots involvement in Deflategate. The outspoken corner didnt hold back when he talked about any potential discipline the Patriots might face, citing the relationship between NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and Patriots owner Robert Kraft. Also during the media session, Sherman showed that he wasnt going to give reporters any quotes that could be taken out of context and turned into a story. When asked if he thought he was the best cornerback in the game, Sherman rejected the reporters question. With he and New Englands Darrelle Revis considered to be among the top cornerbacks in the NFL, Sherman decided not to give the media anything to run with on that question. Sherman isnt afraid to say whats on his mind. However, the Stanford graduate is smart enough to make sure that he chooses his words wisely.
