Richmond Fed Economist to Speak at the Virginia Financial Literacy Summit, Monday, October 13, 2014, at 8:30 a.m. at the Richmond Marriott Hotel, Richmond, Virginia. Economist Kartik Athreya of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond will speak on “Human Capital Investment and the Higher Education Decision” at the 10th annual Virginia Financial Literacy Summit on Oct. 13, 2014. The event, which is hosted by the Virginia Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy, is designed to offer resources to help Virginias middle and high school educators teach economics and personal finance. Presenters and exhibitors will provide lesson plans, activities and materials that can be applied in a classroom setting. CARE will be there!
