Rick and I visit the convenience store across from Town Tavern frequently because were desperately addicted to fountain soda. The two owners are really nice guys and are always super friendly; they call me Batman and Rick is Robin. This morning Sam, one of the owners, asked if I knew anything about medical equipment (I was wearing scrubs). He went onto say that he wants to purchase a piece of equipment to help two disabled children who live in a nearby apt. I asked if he needed help raising the money (the equipment is quite costly) but he said that he wanted to pay for it himself. Made my day! And yes, we are the Dynamic (be it sometimes dysfunctional) Duo.
