Riding today and a mile down the road I noticed a slight grinding feeling/noise at about 15 mph, or when slowing down off the throttle. When Im going 30+ it feels super smooth and nice but whenever Im slowly accelerating or going slow it makes that audible grinding. Its not super loud but Im running a quiet pipe and you can hear it when Im off the throttle. Its not constant either it sounds like a 1/2 or 1/4 cycle of what ever is grinding persay, so 10 feet of rolling without noise then 4 feet of that grinding etc etc. A55 Engine, 70cc airsal kit, 15:15 sha, 15mm intake, Estoril pipe. 350 miles total on the whole setup. Just trying to be as descriptive as I can. I brought it back and checked the fluid, nothing came out when I took out the screw on the side of the transmission to check levels but the instant I put new fluid in it started coming out so I just screwed it back in and topped it off. Started it up again, same problem. I opened the transmission 2 weeks ago and for the most part all of the gears were in good shape besides for one tooth that had a nick. Ive emptied the transmission out before and got all the pieces from a sprag clip that busted a while ago out so that should not be the problem. Does this ring any bells to any one?
