Right before I got ready for bed my wife put in a cd. I heard the familiar guitar and bass track. It was a song I had written with my old band called Withou Warning. It brought me instantly into the nostalgic mode. I was reminded of the times setting and working with Dan Summers on playing bass like a lead guitar. Note for note with his guitar. It was a fun time. I was 28 when that happened. I am now 40 almost 41 in Jan. My love for music has not changed. Just the music I listen to. I was living three hours away in Colebrook N.H. I had a fairly easy going life there. Job..... Nice car..... Money..... Setting well in my life..... I got a call from an old friend from Maine. He Lee..... Wanna play bass in a band with me???? I already have a gig set up for us...... My reply was YES....... I have played bass since I was 15.... The guy asking had been my old drummer.... I went to Maine to practice every week. I got tired of all that driving. I gave my notice..... Packed everything I owned and moved to Maine...... Darrin McDougal was the person responsible for all of it.... lol..... So I thought..... I played in several bands since then.... One band I was in..... Sacrifice...... Darrin was the drummer. Joshua Emery the singer and I on bass..... Little did WE know that there was plans being made for each of us.... I say all that to say this...... God KNEW what He was doing..... One person is now a pastor..... Another a worship leader and the other plays bass at his church when he can..... GOD PUT MUSIC IN OUR HEARTS...... He doesnt make mistakes...... He puts people in our paths to help lead us to Him...... God is amazing and I thank Him for what He has done and how He made all of these things happen..... As His plan unfolds we sometimes can get a glimps of what His PERFECT plan is for us..... God bless to all. Oh and if God hadnt put music in my heart...... I would not have been able to marry my beautiful wife.......
