Righteous living is having less and less of you and having more and more of Jesus in you.For the sake of Christ , you are willing to let go all the earthly rights in exchange for heavenly rights. It is extremely difficult to have both ends meet and sometimes it is very tempting to clamor for the rights that are once yours, but how much are you willing to trade those temporary pleasures for a crown? Obedience is the key to righteous living...one that is not based on performance but one that is based on what Christ hath done at the Cross of Calvary. Until you embrace the habit of looking back at the old rugged cross and its power to pardon and sanctify, you will end up performing till you get tired and weary of pleasing yourself.Until, you cherish what Christ did at the cross, you will find it difficult to walk right before God. The things of this world will always allure you to crave for human rights, power, fame, riches without consulting the righteous way of having them and without yielding to the will of God.
