Righto everyone. The big day is nearing!!! I hope youve all enjoyed the photo updates recently... Trust us... There is plenty more good stuff to come, including the big reveal first thing on Saturday where you can all finally lay eyes on the beast! Weve pretty much completed the trolley. That means were almost exactly on the same track as the Groundhawk, getting it complete just in the nick of time! Much like 2011, we havent left much room for trial runs and honing our techniques and tactics... It appears we may just have to wing it again! Our priorities are now set on our costumes, our skit, and most importantly - how exactly we are getting our spastic palm tree up north! Just so you all know, the big race is at the Auckland Domain on Sunday from 10am-3pm. If you are in the area itd be ridiculous not to pop in for a look - Its totally free for anyone to come along and watch! If you cant make it, TV3 will have a delayed telecast of the event on the same day from 3:30pm-5:30pm so make sure you tune in for that! Its going to be an absolute blast so I hope youre all looking forward to it! We sure are! Its time to enjoy the spoils of our hard work... Its been weeks of planning, long days, sleepless nights, difficult decisions, blood, sweat, tears and skin... That being said, its all part of the glorious experience and we couldnt be more chuffed with the result!
