Rigors. Myalgia. Arthralgia. Headache. For a long time, these were just symptoms Id hear and record in the patients charts. Yesterday, it was so bad, I couldnt do anything else, not even facebook or read. Even the fan was unbearable. My legs felt like Id just ran a half marathon. Today, I feel so much better. Life is back to normal. Sometime ago I had promise to cover a clinic in advance, though I didnt foresee Id be unwell during that time. Partially recovered, I showed up as promised. A patient and her parent was in the room when I had a bad bout of coughing. Doktor pun sakit ke the mother quipped. (Is the doctor sick too) Yes, doctors are human too.
