Rihanna Kicks Off First Annual Diamond Ball to Benefit the Clara Lionel Foundation Source: Vogue:– “Shine bright like a diamond,” coos Rihanna in her hit song “Diamonds,” and last night at The Vineyard in Beverly Hills, she certainly did. The pop star hosted the first annual Diamond Ball benefiting the Clara Lionel Foundation, whose grants fund efforts to improve health, education, arts, and culture globally and was founded by the singer herself in 2012 in honor of her grandparents. Kim Kardashian West, in a dazzling Balenciaga ensemble, Salma Hayek Pinault and François-Henri Pinault, and actress Ellen Pompeo were all in attendance at the foundation’s inaugural celebration.
