*Ripper Lonesome at alley wandering In the night without light, darkness blooms Behind me footsteps quicken They hasten, ground gets thumped repeatedly Fear grips, heart pounds beneath flesh Knees jerky, become wobbly like jelly This route I dared strolled late A body laid mutilated A fortnight ago caught late Too late, strange hand grips my neck whirls my head Too late, light flares flashes Eyes lock in piercing gaze Mine, terrified, stared back to look Into angelic ones I thought would be deathly A pretty smile for a scowl I imagined would death stair in me Glowed on a comely face Betraying white teeth for velvet fangs I feared they would be The other hand stroked my side gently Rather than the knife I knew would cut me open Kindly figure made for bewilderment Courtesy was near amusement The ripper with salt devours preys Such endearing nature robs sense of discernment Lonely was I left bleeding Yet another victim that would be found lying My heart was broken in two My heart got broken too #WitWrite2014
