River update: River is still resting and trying to wake up from his procedure. We are just letting him rest. We will be coming home today sometime. His pain has been kept well under control while we have been here since they are giving him narcotics but we were told we wouldnt go home with anything except to give him ibuprofen and Tylenol in which I am very nervous about and of course am insisting on not leaving this hospital with out a good plan on pain control. River just actually woke up as I was typing this and we are going to feed him and hes looking great and they also just came in and are sending us home with narcotics!! Yay!!! Thank God - see all your prayers are working and this momma will be able to relax with her sick baby. I will need a few days to get control of my PTSD and what we just went through will all of the feelings it just brought back to the surface. Like my mom said Its like ripping off an old bandaid. FYI - while Im working on my mental self food always makes me feel better so aunt Sarah Ralph Branson can you make me some liver dumplings and momma Viney Mosley whatever you want to make us because I love all your cooking, dont forget the dessert and Gina Marie DAngelo you know I love your multi cheese sandwiches and Italian cuisine!!! Jim Woods I might need a bottle or 2 of liquor from the store!!! ❤️❤️❤️thank you guys for your continued support this is just another reminder of how precious life is, how important family and friends are and how prayers really do help!! We will be celebrating Rivers 1st birthday next week. I also think I am feeling like we dont just need to decorate for a birthday party but for Christmas too (I havent felt that way since Levi died) I feel parts of this experience has given me signs from Levi that things could always be so much worse and we need to celebrate not only Rivers birthday but Jesuss too!!
