Riyadhus Salihin An Nawawi, Chapter 35 Hadith 283 Ibn ‘Umar reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, “All of you are guardians. Each of you is responsible for his flock. An amir is a guardian. A man is a guardian in respect of his family. The woman is a guardian in respect of her husband’s house and children. All of you are guardians and each of you is responsible for his flock.” Sahih Bukhari ,Volume 3, Book 46, Number 733: Narrated ‘Abdullah bin ‘Umar: That he heard Allah’s Apostle saying, “Everyone of you is a guardian and is responsible for his charge; the ruler is a guardian and is responsible for his subjects; the man is a guardian in his family and responsible for his charges; a woman is a guardian of her husband’s house and responsible for her charges; and the servant is a guardian of his master’s property and is responsible for his charge.” I definitely heard the above from the Prophet and think that the Prophet also said, “A man is a guardian of his father’s property and responsible for his charges; so everyone of you is a guardian and responsible for his charges.” Sahih Muslim, Book 20, Hadith 4496 It has been narrated on the authority of Ibn ‘Umar that the Holy Prophet (May peace be upon him) said: Beware, every one of you is a shepherd and every one is answerable with regard to his flock. The Caliph is a shepherd over the people and shall be questioned about his subjects (as to how he conducted their affairs). A man is a guardian over the members of his family and shall be questioned about them (as to how he looked after their physical and moral well-being). A woman is a guardian over the household of her husband and his children and shall be questioned about them (as to how she managed the household and brought up the children). A slave is a guardian over the property of his master and shall be questioned about it (as to how he safeguarded his trust). Beware, every one of you is a guardian and every one of you shall be questioned with regard to his trust. In the context of the authentic hadiths quoted above, it is important for each of us Mukmins @ Believers in Allah and His Blessed Messenger, Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wassallam to take responsibility over those whom we are entrusted to protect and to see to their upkeep and wellbeing. It makes no difference as to whether one is poor or wealthy. Each must see to the welfare of his or her charge. Live according to ones means and provide ones family with the best at his or her disposal. Truly, Allah the Almighty and Most Merciful Knows our situation. He is The One Who Created us. Not an atom moves without His Consent and Will. Yet He gives us our Freedom of Choice. Each of us is free to seek knowledge in order to be able to choose how to live? Lack of knowledge and making the wrong choices can leave us in a quandary as to how to solve our problems or needs? Thus it is imperative that we choose the right faith to profess and to practice in order to attain the Salvation that Allah has provided for Mankind. Islam is the Only Revealed Faith for all Mankind. Study the Creation of the Light of Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wassallam and the Creation of our Father Adam Alaihis Salam and from Adam, the Creation of Sayyidatina Hawwa Radhiallahu Anha. Adam Alaihis Salam was the First Believer @ Mukmin in the physical sense of being also the First Human Being created from earth taken by Sayyidina Izrail Alaihis Salam, the most powerful Malaikat @ Angel of Allah Subhanahu Wa Taala! How could Adam be anything else but a Mukmin and a Muslim because it was Allah who created him up there in the highest levels of Jannahtul Firdaus @ Paradise? It was Allahu Taala Himself who fashioned our Father, the Prophet Adam Alaihis Salam with Allahs own hands! It was the Ruh @ Soul that was blown by Allah into the form of our Father Adam that brought Life to him. It was the Knowledge from Allah that was taught to Adam so as to enable him to know of things that even the Malaikats @ Angels did not know of that elevated Adam Alaihis Salam to be appointed as the Viceroy of Allah the Most Merciful here on Earth. Remember too that if Allah did not have a masterplan to allow Adam Alaihis Salam and our Mother Hawwa Radhiallahu Anha to go against Allahs Commandment of not approaching and consequently eating of the fruit from the Forbidden Tree, all of us would not come to exist here on Earth for Adam Alaihis Salam and Hawwa Radhiallahu Anha would still be up there in the Heavens enjoying themselves. Use our God given logic and Faculties of Reasoning! For those of you who are capable of rational thought and do possess the powers of thinking, do not lay the blame entirely upon Satan @ the Devil either for causing Adam and Hawwas downfall from grace. Satan used to be known as Azazil, Chief of the Djinns. He was the most righteous of the Djinns @ Creatures created by Allah out of Fire. How could Satan @ Azazil be allowed to be up there amongst the Malaikats if he was not a believer in Allah? A true worshiper of Ar Rahman? Could any Kaffir be up there in the Jannah tul Firdaus without the Will and Consent of Allahu Taala in the first place? Without the Will and Consent of Allah allowing Azazil to not bow to Adam Alaihis Salam when commanded to by Allah for all those present in Jannah to prostrate before Adam, the whole chain of events leading to Azazils @ Satans ouster from Jannahtul Firdaus would not have taken place and I would not be here sharing this with you! Hello??? We will not have come to exist here on Earth! THINK! This is what Allah the All Mighty wanted. Not a Zarrah @ an Atom could move without Allahs Will! Yet, here we are. The Children of Adam Alaihis Salam with all our varieties. Only a billion plus of the current human population professing to believe in Allah and His Messengers, His Malaikats, His Scriptures, His Qada and Qadr @ Destiny and in the Yaum al Qiyamat @ Doomsday! Out of Ignorance and Egoism, the rest of Mankind have chosen to stray from Allahs Guidance @ Al Islam. Mankind is prone to be in Loss for it is in our genes. In Surah Al-Isra (Chapter 17 Verse 25 Al Quran Al Karim quran/17/25 ) Allah tells us that He knows what is inside us and is Most Forgiving if we choose to repent and return to His Mercy. I can keep going on and on my dear brothers and sisters, fellow Children of Adam Alaihis Salam about the Oceans of Mercy that Allah Azza Wa Jall has showered upon us but only those of you who have it in you to think and to ponder as to all that I have shared here will come to accept that you too are but a servant and creation of Allah! Not some product of chance or the fruit of some dang-fangled imagined deity of your own delusion! A true human being is capable of much more than that! Embrace Islam with reason and Insya Allah, you wont end up in Hellfire! Its time for Sahur. Our meal before Fajr and the 2nd day of fasting in the Sacred and Holy Blessed month of Ramadhan, 1435 After Hijrah. May Allah bless and accept our Saum @ Fast and cleanse us of our sins, committed knowingly or otherwise. Only those in the Know will be able to digest all that I have shared this early morning. Do not go blame Satan for your own screw-ups either for the First Ever Scapegoat and his offspring are all at the moment under lock and key in Hellfire. Who can you blame for your sins committed during this blessed month if not your own self? Think and be wise. Be a knowledgeable Muslim! Theres no other alternative in these End Times. Fee Amanillah!
