Road cyclist, tell me How does it feel? Balancing your body Over the wheel On a seat the size of a sanitary towel Doesnt it make your gonads howl? You speed along in shorts so tight Which I quite like, unless theyre white White shorts turn see-through when you sweat I can see your buttocks - Sir weve hardly met! Its rather pleasing for the eyes To see at work your powerful thighs Bet when youve dismounted, your cycling shoes Make you stand like Mr Tumnus on his little hooves Theres a bulge so substantial between your legs It cannot go unnoticed and begs The question - which I cant ask out loud Is whether youre very well endowed Or whether something horrid has happened and you Did a little parp and followed through In neon colours only cyclists would brave Youd fit right in at a 90s rave Youve got the hi-vis Youve got energy gel Youve got the speed You have no bell I can see why you wouldnt want such a thing On a frame that cost more than my wedding ring For as Wiggo has taught us The very first rule Of cycling is Youve got to be cool.... #nationalpoetryday #cycling
