Rob Reiner: Sleepless in Seattle or Hungry for Hamas? According to acclaimed director Rob Reiner the Tea Party is the equivalent of Hamas and therefore must be eliminated. Despite being subjected to such ignorance, I guess I should rejoice in the fact he’s one of less than 10% of liberals who do not consider Hamas a humanitarian organization that caters to children’s birthday parties with machine guns, hummus and Jewish infidels. Excuse my education, Rob, but the Tea Party is predominately a coalition of staunch constitutionalists who believe in the tried and true ideals America was founded upon: individual and economic liberty, faith, limited government, hard work, accountability, and duty. Hmm, sounds pretty radical to me. After all, those principles were only responsible for erecting the most prosperous and powerful nation on Earth in less than two centuries. And unlike Hamas, Tea Party members have actually never used children as human shields or fired mortars and missiles into civilian epicenters, let alone at anyone or anything. Am I missing something, Rob? Did you not watch the “altruistic” Occupy protests or were you Sleepless in Seattle? Sorry, couldn’t resist! What pisses off liberals and the likes of Mr. Reiner more than reason itself, other than a mirror, is how the Tea Party spares no punches in exposing Barack Obama’s numerous lies, historic failures, and unprecedented abuses. Unlike the lapdog media and their Hollywood mouthpieces, we recognize a government that views the Constitution as an inconvenience, illicitly uses its agencies to target political opponents, abandons our sovereign borders and safety to help illegal aliens usurp our laws, prints and spends our money without regard to the economic fallout, and empowers the likes of the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas and ISIS – who kill indiscriminately with no concept of civility or human rights – is inherently an enemy of the of the American people, but more profoundly, humanity. Just because progressives do not agree with our support of the Second Amendment, capitalism, religious freedom, and securing our borders while honoring legal immigration…common sense standards of our republic…in no way whatsoever makes the Tea Party terrorists or criminals. (The riots in Ferguson has illustrated the true culprits of political and economic barbarism) No, Princess Buttercup, it simply means liberals are on the ass end of a losing argument and therefore Democrats must revert to demagoguery and ridiculous allegations to protect their radical agenda rather than acknowledging THEIR beliefs are the greatest domestic threat to our way of life. If Mr. Reiner and his cinematic revisionists still need an impromptu history lesson of the real world, perhaps “We the People” can book them an Israeli hotel right off the Gaza strip. I hear Hamas, unlike the Tea Party, caters to fools.
