Robbery, Waterford West Police are investigating the robbery of a taxi driver at Waterford West this morning. Around 7.35am a taxi picked up two men from Bentinck Street at Waterford West. As the taxi drove off, the driver was threatened by both men who demanded his phone and money. The driver handed over an amount of cash and both men fled the taxi through an alleyway next to the pick up address that leads to Kingston Road. The driver was not injured during the incident. The front male passenger is described as being Pacific Islander in appearance, approximate 170cms tall with a muscular build and aged between 25 and 35. He was wearing a red and black t-shirt, has short hair, unshaven with a tattoo on his arm. The rear passenger is described as being Pacific Islander in appearance, approximately 185cms tall with a muscular build and aged between 25 and 35.
