Robbery at Speedway Gas Station 700 block of US RT 30 At approximaltely 5:55 am Dyer PD was called to Speedway, 718 Joliet Street (US Rt 30) for a Robbery. Dyer officers responded and began investigating. The employee stated a white male approximately 5 6,with full beard and black baseball cap between 21-31 years of age demanded cigarettes and gift cards. The suspect acted like he had a weapon in his waistband and made several threats. The suspect fled the store and appeared to enter a light colored 4d vehicle with shiny rims and fled north on Calumet Avenue.
