Robbie Casten-Heppe update November 10, 2014. Robbie and I just left the Doctors office and this is where she stands at present. The Transplant doctors believe that she is making strides in the right direction. She is beginning to regain lost weight and is adjusting well to all of her meds but one, an anti rejection drug that she never seems to have enough of in her blood work ups. She wants to go home, we want to go home. As we approach 12 weeks here home just gets dearer and dearer! To get home we need you to help us pray for a couple of things. 1. As you know during last months bronchostomy two small infections were found and treated. Hopefully she will undergo a second bronchostomy next week. Our prayer is the results show zero infection at this time. Any further infection could increase our stay here in St. Louis. 2. The doctors would like to see her body get stronger to maximise her health potential. Added muscle and weight gain are two important keys to being released to go home. 3. Please remember both of us in terms of anxiety and depression that can accompany such a miracle as this. Out strength is in the Lord. We seek His presence every day as we proceed with this journey to health. Thank you all so much for your prayers, gifts and love. You are all so special to us. Our words fail to express how much we love all of you. Ed and Robbie
