Robin and Lucienne Day worked for John Lewis as design consultants from 1962–1987 and Lucienne Day also designed for Cavendish Textiles, a company owned by John Lewis. In 1954 she created a series of playful and spontaneous dress fabric patterns. Twenty years later, she produced a number of powerful designs for furnishing fabrics. Both ranges have been brought back into production as part of John Lewis 150 Years celebration.
