Robot Cage Manufacture Team Leader Shift Pattern applies Salary: £10.08/hr + paid overtime + Bonus Permanent An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader at our Newark-based client. You will be responsible for the operations of computerised automatic cage manufacturing robots in order to produce cages to customer specification and required technical standards. Responsible: • To-coordinate and supervise the use of labour, materials and plant involved in the production of cages • Hands on role, primarily supervising the cage manufacturing robots. • To ensure quality of cages, by checking / inspecting at each stage of production • Reporting any defects • Conducting administration tasks, including use of IT systems, required to efficiently operate the site • Responsible for weekly and monthly stock checks • Ensuring timely delivery of materials • Controlling the drivers, visitors and contractors within cage manufacturing buildings • Assisting our maintenance technicians and business partners in maintaining & improving site standards. The Candidate • Flexibility and initiative are essential • You should be self-motivated & responsible • Good communication skills and an ability to work effectively with customers & suppliers • A commitment to Health, Safety & Environment standards • Previous experience in reinforcement cage manufacture would be beneficial but not essential • A flexible and positive attitude to working times in line with the projects requirements We would consider applicants from a Civil Engineering or similar manufacturing/production background, however, you must have good PC skills.
