Rock Café has earned quite a reputation along the Garden Route for their authentic-sounding covers of classic rock favourites. They recently performed at the Bravo Lounge as the back-up band to the up and coming GertKoevert. The band comprises Grenville Harty on guitar. A seasoned muso, he has played longside and toured with many well-known local artists, the latest of which was Fat Alice. On vocals and bass guitar is Davey MacMillan who is better-known for his one-man-band shows along the Garden Route as Davey-Mac. He has also backed and sessioned for well-known artists such as Matt Hunter, Barbara ray and Gene Rockwell. On drums is Marius Els who is known in Afrikaans music circles, having played with the likes of JakkieLouw, Michael Lindt and JJ Stephens to name a few.
