“Rock for the Nurses 2014” Supports Nurses at Ocean Medical Center on June 1 Tickets are available for “Rock for the Nurses 2014” on Sunday, June 1, 2014 from 12 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Idle Hour Restaurant & Bar located at 2600 Route 88 in Point Pleasant Borough. The event is sponsored by the Barbara Forfar Nursing Scholarship Fund and all proceeds will benefit the nurses and nursing students of Ocean Medical Center by providing nursing scholarships to further formal education in the nursing profession. Tickets are $20 per person (kids 12 and under are free) and are available for advance purchase at the Idle Hour Restaurant & Bar (Brick), Bow-Kay Florist (Brick) and at Ocean Medical Center (Brick). Tickets will also be available for purchase the day of the event at the door.
