Rockin the Perception Boat! This morning I received a private message on Facebook from from a dear friend: Good morning Rich. How are you and Linda. Ive been talking to some saints and it seems everybody is undergoing trials right now. My reply: Thats always a good thing, because its only the ones who are going (or have gone) to hell and back who are ready for a radical change IN their perception of God and Christianity. And like it or not its true, because the ones who are still clinging to the TWO MASTER (see Matthew 6:22-24) lie just dont want their perception boats rocked! And leaving the throng, they took Him with them, [just] as He was, IN the boat [in which He was sitting]. And other boats were with Him. And a furious storm of wind [OF HURRICANE PROPORTIONS] arose, and the waves kept beating into the boat, so that it was already becoming filled. But He [Himself] was in the stern [of the boat], asleep on the cushion; and they awoke Him and said to Him, Master, do You not care that WE ARE PERISHING? Mark 4:36-38 See what rockin the perception boat does, it was when the boat was not only rocking, but probably about to sink the truth surfaced IN the hearts of Jesus (mighty?) men, Master, do you not care that WE ARE PERISHING? They were steeped in the lie, the lie of Christian self preservation, and because they did not KNOW the One who was fast asleep IN His Fathers care, they were sure they were about to perish. For the message of the (losing to gain) Cross is foolishness to those WHO ARE PERISHING, but to us who are being saved it is THE POWER OF GOD. I Corinthians 1:18 For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it. Matthew 16:25 So what about our perception boat, is it rockin right now to the point all hell is breaking loose concerning our own perception of God? And is that self for self love that is so ingrained in each one of us, NOW being dealt with at its core? Or are we still content holding onto our own limited perception of Him, while just sailing along through the same calm and peaceful Christian waters?
