Rocking out to this album today reminded me of a conversation I had shortly after President Obama was elected. A young man asked me if I voted for Obama to which I replied no because he lacked the necessary experience. He then said so you voted McCain. I said no I couldnt bring myself to vote for someone who had an issue with MLKs bday being a holiday. The young man had no idea what I was referring to. Either Im getting really old or the younger generation has either a short attention span, doesnt stay informed or a bit of both. When he asked who I voted for I said the Barr/Root Libertarian ticket. He asked why and I quoted this song: Neither party is mine. Not the Jackass or the Elephant.
