Romans 5:1-10 -- The Benefits Of Being Justified We can be discouraged by things thats going on in the world and in our lives, But, we can be encouraged by the hope that is in the Word of God I thank God that we have a Savior that want quit or expire on us; no need for gap insurance When Jesus died on the cross; He didnt die in vain We have something to shout about and be thankful for God has promised to forgive us of our sins -- had He not died on the cross, we would be totally lost. When Jesus died on the cross, it removed the anger from God because He no longer saw you when we sinned, but rather saw His Son Relationship with God -- having a relationship with people is one thing, but with God.... Measure my faith by how I go thru what I go thru Faith is expecting God to act like God; but how do we know how God is suppose to act if we never pickup the book Justification by faith - Im preaching a perfect gospel; but Im not a perfect man! Benefits to being justified by faith -- vs 1- We have peace itch God thru our Lord Jesus Christ. There is a difference in the peace of God and peace with God! ---Peace of God is when everything and everybody around you is going crazy and youre still having a good time ---Peace with God -- marks the end of hostility with God. ---vs 2 -- Grace of God -- we have assess to God by faith. How much faith do you have...how often do you read and study Gods Word -- When was the last time you asked God to forgive you for your sins. The Grace of God means the Favor of God. We are worthy of death, but God has allowed us to live on --Justification removes the wrath of God -- if I call on Jesus, He will answer prayer --God will give you Hope -- when youre going thru your troubles. The hope of future blessings in heaven -- Im blessed here on earth; but Ill receive greater in heaven. The glory of God is the promised that He made you for a glorious end! --God gives us Peace - He gives us a peace that passeth all understanding What does it mean to be Justified? --To be declared righteous is to make one right with God thru the blood of Jesus Christ...when He died He paid the price-- cant no man or woman make you righteous...all have sinned, so dont let no one make you ashamed to praise Justification does not make us right; it pronounces right on us -- it has to be pronounced on us. When Christ died and rose again; He pronounced righteousness on us
