Rome had one thing right in my opinion. Take these criminals and since they are to be fed, put them to some actual work. Have them fight for entertainment, we dont do this because of what? Its not humane? Millions of people watch boxing, MMA, among other combat sports. Why not fight these people in a similar way, you cannot tell me there would not be money to be made in this. That is all this country cares about, and who is really paying for them to be taken care of anyway, taxpayers? I honestly would not care if they did this and had a monthly showing. It sounds brutal, but the main problem with todays society is that we think ourselves civilized, which I know to be a lie just by watching how we treat each other in everyday life. You will nearly get out of your car cause some jackass cuts you off in traffic, if nothing else you will curse him, give him the finger, and in turn drive slightly less safe yourself as a result. That is one example, Im sure I could think of more and better ones all day. Someone please bring the gladiators back lol.
