On behalf of the members of the PADRE Foundation, we would like to extend our deepest condolences to the Fernandes family on the loss of Robyn, who recently lost her fight with cancer. She was a wonderful, loving, mother; constantly involved in the activities that were significant to her children. When her son was on the football team, she eagerly joined the Boosters. When Ashely got diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, she immersed herself in the PADRE Foundation and it was our families who benefitted. Robyn was a very intuitive and creative person. She would look at a situation from all angles and was able to solve problems effortlessly. She had good advice, great ideas, and knew how to put thoughts into action. She was one of the most dedicated parents, Board members, and partners to our organization. Our PADRE family has truly benefitted from her love, compassion, and support of all of our children living with Type 1 Diabetes. Robyn, you will forever be remembered!
