Ronnie Campbell, our disgraced Labour MP who fiddled his expenses and claimed £87,729 for furniture for his London flat and paid only £6,200 of it back to the taxpayer to avoid going to jail, has been telling our customers that he has bought The Royal Tavern and that his son is going to make the pub into a steak house. Like many pubs, The Royal Tavern is up for sale and has been for some time. There is currently an offer in on the site and at this stage we cant say when or if a sale might complete. Until then, Scott, Colin and the team are open for business as usual and we would like to thank all our customers for their continued support.
