RootJack just belongs at Chinook Fest. They will be on the Naches Heights Vineyard stage Saturday at 11:45. After 6 years of playing all over the PAC NW with bands like Cross Canadian Ragweed, J. Roddy Walston and the Business, The White Buffalo, and even Foghat, and on festivals with Shovels and Rope, and Dr Lonnie Smith, Root Jack has proven they belong on the big stages, but can rock a small bar or roadhouse with the same enthusiasm. If Cream had been listening to the Carter Family, instead of Robert Johnson, it might have come off like this. Kris Stuart singer and guitarist, Kevin Cowan bass player and drummer Chris Hutton are a tight, 70′s rock inspired roots-music band. CF Tip: If you heard Root Jack for the first time and didn’t know any better, you may think they are a Southern Rock band from the 70′s. We like this about them. In truth, they are a Northwest band from Portland from the present time. We also like this about them. chinookfest https://youtube/watch?v=D_M3YF4GnIE
