"Rose" Part 3: I have just sent the 14 applicants for "Rose" the following email: "Please be advised that “Rose” did not show up for a scheduled appointment yesterday. Her number is disconnected. An uncle has not heard from her. The lawyer for her ex-husband notified her ex-husband to have her contact me (she sees her kids in his custody). I cannot even speculate as to what may have happened. I hope she and the baby are okay. I fully expect to hear from her before October 3rd due date but in the meantime I am pulling her situation. Those who sent in SASE’s will get full packets back. Those who didn’t will get checks back. We will start over if she shows up and presents a solid adoption plan. I am very sorry for the changes in circumstances, but it is certainly better for everyone to have a “disruption” now rather than on October 5th." "Rose", if you are reading this, please let me know how you are doing. Just want to make sure you are doing okay. If you decided to parent (or go with someone else) that is perfectly fine, just want to make sure you are not in dire straits. No judgment here. Mark
