Roy Zacharias, President of the Association of Surgical Technologists, posted: I would like to take this time to thank everyone that attended the 45th Annual Conference in Denver. It was a huge success. From the opening ceremony, the keynote speaker Sam Glenn, our panel participants with the Double Arm Transplant to the closing night events everyone enjoyed themselves. We had more candidates running for office than we have had in many years. I would like to congratulate Glen Mullins for being elected as Secretary. Sam Waites and Nicole Endres-Claussen for being elected to the AST Board for the first time as well and Don Braziel and Jean Carty-Turner for being reelected as Directors. I will share many thoughts with everyone in the Conference AST Journal issue. Thank you to all that attended and I encourage everyone to try to make plans for next year in San Antonio. It will be even bigger and better.
