FrCassian Sama A funny story about "a husband who walks home from church after a confession he made to the priest about his wife. He reaches home, calls out his wife and carries her in his arms. The wife is surprised and asks: Honey, did the priest tell u to be so romantic like this. Husband: No, he said I should come home and carry my cross." Today’s gospel reading invites us to reflect on the conditions that Jesus asked of those wishing to come after Him as His disciple: "If anyone wishes to come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me."
