Royal Status: Oh the indignity! Her royal furballness, the Maharani of Gulf House Resort, in all her recently-groomed splendor, was outside languidly reclining on the stepping stones, surveying her domain, when Leo, our humongous German Shepherd neighbor who looks ferocious and menacing, but is actually a big ole loopy sweetie-pie, was out with his best pal, Big Jim, the hot dog man, helping with a little lawn spruce-up. There can be no other explanation than that Granny Greyfur mustve temporarily misplaced her courage, as she bolted for the Norfolk Island Pine tree that guards the royal gallery (front porch) and tried to climb it.....unsuccessfully. Leo simply gazed at her as if to say, What? and resumed romping around his buddy, Jim. the grounds servant (mr. bill) rescued her highness and brought her into the keep (house), where she is lounging attractively on the living room rug. Of course, she couldve just been implementing her new and improved exercise program. Yeah, thats it! Granny Greyfur pipes up. Uh-huh.
