Rs/- 10 lakh for SCs STs to study abroad; why not for Muslims? Hyderabad, January 02: With more and more students getting enthusiastic about pursuing higher studies, a number of students are opting for professional courses like, medicine, engineering, pharmacy, nursing, business management etc. and many of them are getting admission in American, British, Australian, Canadian universities. But the problem is they don’t afford to pay Rs. 10 to 14 lakh fee required to study abroad. It must be noted that Muslims are more backward in India economically than SCs and STs hence if they are also provided financial aid of Rs. 10 lakhs on par with SCs and BCs it would help them pursue higher studies in foreign countries.
