Ruby reaches a still place in one’s heart. This starving, beleaguered girl is in desperate need of a hero; someone with kindness and fortitude enough to help heal our tender lady. Ruby is a 3 year old abandoned girl with the label of “illness” on her intake notes. She is a butterscotch/tan pit bull mix and extremely thin at 59 pounds. You can see her ribs and pulled in body crying out for nourishment. Ruby’s ears are raw and scabbed from fly bites --how painful this must be for her. Her facial expression says this is so. Perhaps it is the lack of nutrition or the painful ears, but Ruby is off balance on her left side. She needs a thorough vetting to determine the status on all of these issues once out of the ACC. Amazingly, Ruby was given an “all systems are go” rating for behavior which indicates that despite the physical problems she is currently experiencing, Ruby is friendly and loving. Please lend Ruby a paw for freedom and health. We must do it now because Ruby is on the kill list for tomorrow. She needs a hero now and it is up to us to find that for her. Strongly advocate for Ruby so that she can find the relief and treatment she so desperately needs as well as a new, loving home.
