Rufus Cathey was the DJ for Dan and Kimberlys wedding reception on October 26, 2013: We had a great experience with Sounds Abound for our October wedding, with Rufus as our DJ. The dance floor was packed all night! The Sounds Abound planning tool was very helpful in thinking through the event and picking songs. We were able to plan our entire wedding with Rufus over the phone/email, which was very convenient as we live and work downtown, and had a very short engagement. He was very thorough in the planning process - we talked through every part of the day, rehearsed name pronunciation, and tracked down some obscure songs we wanted. Rufus played songs that reflected our requests and personalities, and knew how to respond to the crowd to keep the party going. He was pleasant to work with and was one of the reasons the night was so fun!
