Rule #1 Dont test on race day...but we had no choice. Lol. The first round of qualifying was our very first pass with the car. I think the engine was still warm from the early morning dyno session! Well, we sprayed it right out of the hole and almost took out a couple of cones! On our second pass we backed it down but the car had a slight vibration so Jr played it safe. Turned out to be something very minor. Unfortunately for us it was not an all run field so we were left on the outside looking in. On the plus side the car ran flawlessly, fired right up, idled great and sounded awesome. We put some runs on the Mustang, collected some data and kept the shiny side up. All good things! We know it makes more than enough power, now all we have to do is test, test, test! Dont worry, the Fonse Performance/ K&S Race Cars Mustang will be ready for battle next Sunday at Etown!
