Rules & Regulations Code of Conduct During her stay in the college every student shall practise proper modesty and decorum in her behavior and conduct. She shall prepare her lessons and home tasks regularly. She shall refrain from aimless wandering and bunking of classes while present in the college. A fine shall be imposed on bunking the classes according to the policy. She shall attend all the functions held at the college. The practice of absenting oneself from the college during functions is strictly discouraged. She shall take full interest in the co-curricular activities organized by the institution. Students suffering from a contagious disease are not permitted to attend the institution. In such a case, students shall obtain a medical certificate from a government medical practitioner. Students are not allowed to see visitors in the college. No student shall invite / bring any outsider along with her. A written permission is sought from parents before proceeding on excursion or educational trips. Students are not allowed to arrange such trips independently. Students are not allowed to bring valuables like mobile phones, mp4 players, walk-man, cameras and jewelry to the college. Use of unfair means and malpractice during exams shall render the particular paper to be cancelled. College timings shall strictly be observed. Students coming late in the morning shall be fined. Students involved in character and conduct disciplinary matters shall be strictly dealt with. They are liable to be expelled / rusticated after a single warning. The judgement of the college authorities shall be respected in the settlement of such matters. Damaging the college property furniture, lab equipment, library books, building etc. shall be strictly dealt with. Use of violence, threat of violence, bad language or mal treatment of fellow students can cause serious punishment to the student. Discipline Rules in Examination Self-decided preparation leaves are discouraged. Fine upto Rs. 50/- may be imposed by college administration in case of self preparation leaves before exams or absence during exams. Absence / failure in home exams will render a student ineligible for public exam / promotion. Result cards of terminal and annual exams will be sent to the parents through the students. In case the parents do not receive the result cards, they should contact the college authorities immediately. Students absenting herself in any Home Exam (class test, monthly examination, terminals) shall be considered fail. Medical certificates in case of absence during Send-up and Annual examination are discouraged and under no circumstances will be acceptable after the examination. Use of unfair means in examinations will be dealt with severely and penalty shall be imposed in accordance with the rules laid by Federal Board / Quaid-e-Azam University . Library Rules Journals, Periodicals and reference books are non-issuable. General Books including text books can be issued two at a time for a period of 14 days only. The period can only be extended on the physical presentation of the book. A Fine of Rs.5/ day will be charged if the books are not returned within the prescribed period. Students are not allowed to bring bags and books in the library. Only plain paper and pen/pencil should be brought in the library for preparing notes A book lost or damaged will have to be replaced by the borrower. During the annual stock checking, the library shall remain closed. All books must be returned to the library before the announced date of stock checking. All books must be returned before obtaining roll number slips for public examinations. A clearance from the librarian is essential in this regard. College Cards College Identity Card: Every student is provided with a College Identity Card on her admission to the institution. The student must keep the card with her during the whole session and must show it whenever required. Failure to do so is punishable. Library Card: Library Card is also essential for every student. On admission every student is provided with the library facility which she can utilize during the session. No books are issued without the library card. Bus Cards: Bus Cards are available to all bonafide students. A fine of Rs. 50/- and fee of Rs. 30/- is charged on the issue of a duplicate card. Loss of bus card may be reported immediately to the Transport In charge. Gate Pass: In order to maintain security, discipline and order in the institution, a student once entered in the college cannot leave without a Gate Pass. The pass is issued by the Vice Principal after confirmation of the fact that the student is being taken by a parent or guardian. Fines Special fines are levied for the following: Coming late Rs. 50/- per day. Absence from the College without application Rs. 50/- per day. Improper uniform Rs. 100/- per day. Fine for bunking Rs. 50/- per period. Late fee fine after 20th of each month Rs. 200/-. The student’s name will be struck-off from college roll after 20th of a month, if fee is not paid. On re-admission new admission fee will be charged. Fine for absence from exams and college functions upto Rs. 50/- per day. Any student found guilty of making the college untidy will be fined Rs. 100/- on the spot. Returning Library Books Late Rs. 5/- per day Attendance and Punctuality It is mandatory for all students to attend the morning assembly. No student will be allowed to enter the college after half an hour of the college arrival timings. The name of the student absenting herself from lectures and practical for ten or more consecutive days will be struck off the college rolls. Readmission will be granted only on genuine grounds, at the Principal’s discretion, and on the payment of Readmission Fee. Attendance criteria prescribed by the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Islamabad and Quaid-e-Azam University is strictly adhered to Principals will ensure that transparent, regular and unambiguous record of daily attendance is maintained at all times on an accountable Roll Call Register. Students are required to attend at least 75% classes every month. A student with less than 75% attendance in lectures and practicals will not be eligible to appear in the Board / University examination. The college authorities will not be responsible if students miss any information during their absence. Leave Application A leave application should: Be submitted on a plain paper. Be addressed to the Principal. Carry the full name, roll number, class and section of the applicant. Clearly mention the dates / period for which leave is applied. Be duly signed by parent / guardian. An application must be submitted prior to absence, except in case of illness. The name of a student will be struck off the rolls if she is absent without prior sanction of leave. Leave applied on medical grounds for more than five days should be supported by a medical certificate. A leave application failing to meet the above terms shall not be entertained. School / College Leaving Certificate An application for college / school leaving certificate should be given with parent / guardian signatures. The student should pay the college dues as per rules till the removal of her name from the College Roll. The certificate will be issued can the completion of her clearance slip in all respects.
