Russell Brand made the following comment the other night in an interview regarding corporations and profit. Profit, he says, is not only a dirty word, its a filthy word, because wherever there is profit there is also deficit. I wonder if Mr Brand performs for no profit? How stupid can you get? How would corporations pay their investors without profits? You know the money that helps your 401k to grow. Does Mr. Brand invest or does he just keep all of his filthy profits from his work in cash? I cant believe the complete ignorance of people who think like Mr Brand that corporations are evil for making profits. He also believes that these corporations should be heavily taxed. Corporations are already heavily taxed. When their taxes go up so do the prices of their goods and services. The consumer is effected by everything that affects corporations. When fuel prices rise, if there is a shortage of raw materials and so on. Corporations employ people but heavily burdened industries can not hire if their operational costs rise. Sometimes they go out of business and when that happens we all loose. America works when Americans work. We need all of our corporations and small businesses. They are the job creators and the source for everything we consume. We would do well to remember that, For Every Action There Is An Equal And Opposite Reaction. We should not be looking to shoot ourselves in the foot when it comes to taxing our job creators. There is a lot of dangerous and Stupid ideas out there and such comments and thinking are not healthy. I would suggest that Russell Brand share his wealth with those in need if he truly believes what he is saying.
