Russia is practically in a state of war against Europe EU leaders warned last night . (Headlines in the British newspaper The Sunday Telegraph. The issue of course, is the Ukraine. A state of war with Europe?? Let me get this right, the EU and the US illegally conspire to bring the lawfully elected government of a foreign state, with an ensuing rebellion in the eastern part of the country. The Ukrainian government uses phosphorous bombs (illegal under existing conventions) and indiscriminate bombing of civilian targets (schools, hospitals, churches) in an attempt to put down the rebels. Since the Ukrainian state is bankrupt, the money to wage this campaign must be coming form the US, from the EU, or the IMF. The EU, the US, and NATO make continuous allegations that “thousands” of Russian troops have “invaded” the Ukraine and are actively fighting on the side of the rebels. But the only evidence provided are five grainy satellite photographs. Three of these photographs show military installations within the territory of the Russian federation. Of the other two, one shows about 11 trucks (possible military, possibly not; possibly Russian, possibly Ukrainian, possibly rebel), possibly within Ukrainian territory, possibly not: the other shows what might or might not be a small military installation with missile launchers (possibly Russian, possibly Ukrainian, possibly rebel), also allegedly within Ukrainian territory. The problem is that the photos are very low definition, and originate from some commercial agency. NATO, using low-definition satellite shots from a commercial agency, as evidence? Sorry but this is all so ODD, and not really credible. Like the hysteria about Russia almost being at war with Europe. I mean, guys, this is just BIZARRE. The US and NATO have military surveillance satellites which can pick out a postage stamp from space, we’re told, and this is the best we’re offered?
