Spent the last two hours at the Marfa Lights Viewing Area, about 200 people with lawn chairs and picnic baskets having a great time. We saw 3 Marfa lights, the first one was the most impressive. It appeared to be about one half mile away, was bright yellow, floated up slowly, was a single ball, appeared to be on fire like a Roman candle, and lasted about thirty seconds before winking out. The next one was bright white and lasted ten seconds. The last one was farther away, oscillated between green and orange, and lasted five minutes. We viewed them through our ten power binoculars as well as just eyeballing them unassisted. Great fun!
