Rusty was adopted by his foster Mum Robyn and Dad Alex last May. Rusty came to us via Darebin Council after he had completed his 8 days in the pound where he had been handed in as a stray. Here is an update by Rusty (though Im sure Mum Robyn would have given him a hand). A few months ago I decided to go for a walk without my owners, but then they never collected me from the pound. Luckily the lovely people at Noahs Bark promised to find me a nice new home. I tried one, but their silly dog just wanted to play... where I much prefer hanging out with my humans. My next home was all by myself and I liked that much better. Even though I was only supposed to stay for a couple of weeks I decided this was the place for me. So I put on my cute eyes, asked for a belly rub whenever I could, and begged them to stay with all my might. And it worked! More than anything I love the car. We go to all sorts of exciting places. Walks in the bush, visiting relatives, to my grandmas house or my new favourite - the beach. I also love my walks and all the local cafe owners know me now - but nobody can guess Im a Pomeranian, maybe because of my summer haircut. They think Im some sort of cross between a dog and a fox, but I dont mind cause they always have a smile on their face when they say it. I know my mum and dad are very happy cause I make them laugh all the time. And they let me up on the couch now. Im still not allowed in their bed, but Im working on it. Will let you know how I go!
